Description
Three steps to decanting
For aged wine, it takes 3 days to settle before opening to ensure that the fine sediments gather at the bottom of the bottle. Try to avoid disturbing it before opening it, and be steady and careful every time you move it.
■When opening, you need to hold the bottle steady with one hand, open the cork carefully with one hand, and try to reduce the shaking of the bottle to avoid stirring up the sediment.
■When pouring wine, you can use a small flashlight or candle to illuminate the bottle mouth to observe whether the sediment is close to the bottle mouth. Keep the bottle body and the decanter at a certain angle and pour it slowly. Do not pour the wine vertically and pour the dregs into the decanter.
